Are You a Path-Maker or a Path-Blocker?

Dr. Steve L. Robbins

"You walk on a path cleared by others, so it's your responsibility to clear the path for others."

These are the words impressed upon Dr. Robbins' by his mom. While some people like to say, "I got to where I am today on my own," the reality is that all of us stand on the shoulders of those who come before us - who cleared a path for us. This workshop is designed to help those who lead people to recognize "path-making" and "path-blocking" attitudes and behaviors, especially as they pertain to people who have been historically left out.

Using the concept of "mindfulness," Dr. Robbins assists workshop participants in becoming more aware of the different paths that people take, and that some of those paths are open to some, but not necessariyl for all... unless leaders are committed and intentional about creating fair and equitable environments. If the fact that approximately 488 of the Fortune 500 CEO's are males piques your interest, you will want to be in on this workshop.
