What If?

What If?: Short Stories to Spark Diversity Dialogue

"The measure of the a wise person is the ability to entertain new ideas, without necessarily having to accept them." This quote by Aristotle which speaks of the great value of open-mindedness in a 21st century world, is the essence of Dr. Robbins' approach to diversity and inclusion. The ability to be open-minded, and to be cognitively flexible and behaviorally adaptable, makes addressing diversity issues much easier. Indeed, before entering any discussion where there will likely be multiple perspectives in play (e.g., diversity issues) it would be extremely helpful if those around the table were able to entertain perspectives other than their own. Open-mindedness training is a key first step if you want to engage diversity and inclusions more productively and if you are seeking greater creativity and innovation. Learn more about how two powerful words, "What if?" can spark greater open-mindedness, creativity and innovation in your organization. Contact Dr. Robbins (616-915-8424) or steve@slrobbins.com for how he can assist you in developing greater open-mindedness and creating an organizational culture that truly values open-mindedness.
